Day 1: Arrival – NJP / IXB to Phuentsholing

Distance: 170 km | Driving Time: 5 hrs | Altitude: 293 mts
● Meet and greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport
● Transfer to Phuentsholing – the gateway town to Bhutan
● Capture photos at the ornate Bhutan Gate
● Check-in at the hotel
● Evening free for leisure
● Overnight stay in Phuentsholing

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu via Kharbandi Goemba

Distance: 176 km | Driving Time: 6 hrs | Altitude: 2,350 mts
● After breakfast, complete immigration formalities
● Enroute visit Kharbandi Goemba, built by the Royal Grandmother in 1967
● Scenic drive through foothills and Himalayan slopes
● Arrive and check-in at hotel in Thimphu
● Evening at leisure

Day 3: Thimphu Full Day Sightseeing

● Visit:
○ Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma)
○ National Memorial Chorten
○ Folk Heritage Museum
○ Changangkha Lhakhang

● Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong – the impressive fortress housing ministries and monk

Day 4: Thimphu to Paro & Sightseeing

● After breakfast, drive to Paro
● Enroute stop at Tamchog Lhakhang

○ Ta Dzong (National Museum)
○ Paro Rinpung Dzong

○ Kyichu Lhakhang – one of the oldest temples in Bhutan

Day 5: Paro – Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest)

● Post breakfast, hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (approx. 5–6 hours round trip)
● One of Bhutan’s most revered pilgrimage sites

Day 6: Paro to Phuentsholing

● After breakfast, check out and drive to Phuentsholing

Do Indian travelers need a passport for Bhutan?
Yes — Passport (6-month validity) or Voter ID is mandatory. Children require a Birth Certificate + School ID.
Are entry tickets and activities included?
No — monument / museum tickets and optional activities are payable directly by guests.
Is this tour suitable for families and senior travelers?
Yes — the itinerary is comfortable, guided, and paced, with safe road transfers.
Is Indian currency accepted in Bhutan?
Yes — Indian currency up to ₹500 denomination is commonly accepted. ₹2,000 notes may not be accepted everywhere.

1.Booking is confirmed only after advance payment and written confirmation; balance must be paid before travel. 2.The package cost is valid only for the stated itinerary, hotels, and services; any changes or additional services will be chargeable. 3.Permits and immigration approvals are subject to Government rules; guests must carry required original documents at all times. 4.Entry tickets, optional activities, and personal expenses are not included and must be paid directly by guests. 5.The itinerary may change due to weather, road conditions, or operational reasons; unused services are non-refundable. 6.Any increase in taxes, fuel price, SDF/TCS, or government levies after booking will be payable by the guest.
